Mikel Erentxun Brings the “DD40: Duncan Dhu Tour 2026” to the United States

Spanish rock icon Mikel Erentxun is set to cross the Atlantic in 2026 with a special tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of Duncan Dhu, the legendary band that helped define an era of Spanish pop-rock. Titled DD40: Mikel Erentxun – Duncan Dhu Tour 2026, the U.S. leg of the tour will take the artist to eight major cities, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience the music that shaped generations, performed live by one of its original creators.

Duncan Dhu emerged in the mid-1980s and quickly became one of Spain’s most influential bands, blending folk, pop, and rock with poetic lyrics and unmistakable melodies. Songs such as “En algún lugar,” “Cien gaviotas,” and “Jardín de rosas” remain timeless classics, still resonating with audiences decades later. Now, four decades on, Mikel Erentxun revisits this powerful musical legacy, bringing its spirit to both longtime fans and new listeners across the United States.

The DD40 tour is more than a nostalgic look back. It is a carefully crafted celebration of Duncan Dhu’s musical journey, reinterpreted with maturity, emotion, and the experience gained from years on stage. Erentxun’s live performances are known for their intimacy and intensity, combining acoustic moments with energetic arrangements that highlight the enduring strength of the band’s songwriting.

The U.S. tour kicks off on April 3 in Washington, D.C., at the historic Howard Theatre, a venue known for its rich cultural legacy. On April 4, the tour heads to Atlanta, where Erentxun will perform at Eagles Arena. After a short break, the artist travels to Texas, playing in Houston at Vertigo on April 10, followed by a Dallas show at Toro Sinaloense on April 11.

Mid-April brings the tour to the East Coast and Midwest. On April 17, Mikel Erentxun will take the stage at HK Hall in New York City, a key stop for international artists. The following night, April 18, he will perform in Chicago at Distro Music Hall, connecting with fans in one of the country’s most vibrant music scenes.

The final stretch of the tour moves west. On April 24, Erentxun arrives in Los Angeles, performing at Giggles Nightclub, before closing the U.S. leg on April 25 in San Francisco at Roccapulco, a venue long associated with alternative and Latin music culture.

With the DD40: Duncan Dhu Tour 2026, Mikel Erentxun not only honors the past but reaffirms the lasting impact of Duncan Dhu’s music. This tour stands as a heartfelt tribute to 40 years of songs that continue to inspire, connect, and move audiences around the world.
