Tour Highlights

North American Leg

The North American tour, featuring support from experimental act YHWH Nailgun, launches in Chicago on January 23 before winding through major markets across the United States and Canada. Notable stops include two nights at San Diego’s intimate Casbah venue, a performance at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco, and a unique show at the Gundlach Bundschu winery in Sonoma, California.

The tour showcases Dry Cleaning’s growing stature in North America, with performances at prestigious venues like Brooklyn Steel in New York, Union Transfer in Philadelphia, and The Wiltern in Los Angeles—spaces that reflect the band’s evolution from cult favorites to established alternative rock headliners.

European Leg

The European tour sees Dry Cleaning return home in April with an impressive run of continental dates before culminating in a series of UK and Irish shows. The tour’s European section hits major cultural capitals including Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris, demonstrating the band’s strong following across the continent.

The tour reaches its climax with a performance at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on April 22, one of the UK’s most iconic music venues. This show represents a significant milestone for the band, cementing their status as major players in British alternative music.

Dry Cleaning’s Unique Sound

Dry Cleaning has carved out a distinctive niche in contemporary music with their innovative approach to post-punk. Fronted by Florence Shaw’s deadpan spoken-word delivery over the band’s atmospheric guitar work, driving basslines, and propulsive drumming, Dry Cleaning creates a sound that’s simultaneously cerebral and visceral.

Their debut album New Long Leg introduced their “everyday surrealism”—a style that finds profound meaning in mundane observations, delivered with Shaw’s detached yet oddly intimate vocal style. The collaboration with Cate Le Bon on Secret Love promises to push their sound into new territories while maintaining the core elements that have made them such a compelling act.

Critical Acclaim and Rising Profile

Since their emergence, Dry Cleaning has consistently earned critical praise for their inventive approach to post-punk and indie rock. Their previous work has been featured extensively in year-end lists and earned them a devoted international following. The ranking of New Long Leg among the best albums of the decade so far speaks to their immediate impact and artistic significance.

A Global Journey

The 2025-2026 tour represents Dry Cleaning’s most ambitious undertaking to date, with over 40 dates across multiple continents. From Spanish clubs to American theaters, from UK festivals to European cultural institutions, the tour showcases the band’s ability to connect with diverse audiences while maintaining their singular artistic vision.

For fans of innovative post-punk, intelligent lyricism, and bands unafraid to challenge conventional song structures, Dry Cleaning’s upcoming tour promises to be one of the most essential concert experiences of 2026. With Secret Love set to arrive in January and a comprehensive tour bringing the new material to life across the globe, Dry Cleaning is poised to further establish themselves as one of the most important bands in contemporary alternative music.
