Robert Plant has announced a new run of U.S. tour dates with his band Saving Grace featuring Suzi Dian, continuing a creative chapter that has quietly evolved into one of the most compelling projects of his post–Led Zeppelin career. The tour will begin on March 1, 2025, at the Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and conclude on April 7 with a special performance at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
Tickets for the newly announced U.S. shows will be available through multiple stages. An artist pre-sale begins today, December 10, at noon ET, while general ticket sales start this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Demand is expected to be strong, particularly in historic venues such as the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and Philadelphia’s The Met, where Plant’s intimate and exploratory approach resonates deeply with audiences.
Saving Grace emerged in a refreshingly organic way, far removed from the machinery of modern music marketing. Speaking to Classic Rock earlier this year, Plant reflected on the band’s beginnings with characteristic candor. “We had no website, no nothing at all. We just played,” he said. “I coined a phrase: ‘Nobody knows what it’s like’, because nobody knew what it was like.” That sense of mystery and freedom has become central to the group’s identity.
Rather than revisiting stadium-sized rock spectacles, Plant has embraced smaller venues and a more personal musical exchange. “We’d turn up and play places where tickets are cheap, people come out and have a great time, and fuck off all the other stuff completely,” he added. This philosophy has shaped Saving Grace into a band focused on feel, spontaneity, and reinterpretation, rather than nostalgia or grand production.
While Plant remains forever associated with Led Zeppelin, Saving Grace is not about recreating the past. The group blends folk traditions, blues, Americana, and reimagined classics, allowing Plant’s voice to explore subtler textures and emotional depth. Occasional nods to Zeppelin material may surface in unexpected ways, but the emphasis remains on reinvention rather than replication. This approach was highlighted recently when Plant performed “Gallows Pole” during a Tiny Desk Concert, offering a stripped-down yet powerful reminder of his enduring artistry.
The U.S. dates follow an extensive UK tour that concludes at York Barbican on December 23, 2024. That run includes stops at prestigious venues such as London’s Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and the Manchester Apollo, underscoring the project’s growing reputation on both sides of the Atlantic. In addition to the U.S. and UK shows, Saving Grace is also scheduled to perform four South American dates in May 2026, bringing the band’s intimate live experience to Argentina and Brazil.
The American leg of the tour covers a wide geographical range and a diverse mix of venues. Highlights include Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater, the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans, the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, and a special appearance at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville. The tour’s finale at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine promises to be particularly memorable, offering a unique acoustic and spiritual atmosphere well suited to the band’s nuanced sound.
